Terms of use

Last updated 19 October 2026

Meenando is a place where buyers post what they want and verified sellers answer privately. These terms explain what we do, what you agree to when you use Meenando, and what happens when the rules are broken.

1. What Meenando is — and isn’t

Meenando connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any sale, we do not hold money, and we never take a commission. The buyer and seller are responsible for the item, its price, payment, delivery and any legal requirements that apply to it.

We earn money from clearly labelled advertising and from aggregated, anonymous demand data sold to businesses. That data never includes your name, phone number, documents or messages.

2. Your account

You must be at least the legal age set for your country (18 in most countries). One person may hold one account. Identity verification ties your account to one government document; a document can back only one account.

Keep your phone number current. You are responsible for everything done from your account.

3. Posting a request

Requests must describe something you genuinely intend to buy, using the details required for that category. Requests for prohibited, stolen, counterfeit or illegal goods or services are removed and count as a strike.

Some categories (for example medicine and property) have extra rules shown when you post. Medicine requests require identity verification, and prescription-only medicines may be supplied only by licensed pharmacies against a valid prescription.

4. Making an offer

Only verified sellers can make offers. Every offer must complete the category’s full form — including real photos of the actual item where required. Offers are visible only to the buyer.

You may not put phone numbers, links or other contact details in an offer. The buyer’s contact details are shared only if the buyer accepts your offer and chooses to share them.

5. Deals

When a buyer accepts an offer, a private deal opens. Both sides must report the outcome — completed, cancelled or no-show — within the closure window. Outcomes and ratings build each person’s public record.

If something goes wrong, open a dispute from the deal page. Our moderators review the chat and evidence and may apply strikes, but we cannot force a refund or a sale.

6. Strikes and removal

Breaking the rules earns strike points: for example, contact details in an offer, no-shows, fake listings or counterfeit goods. Enough points lead to temporary restriction and then a permanent ban. A banned identity cannot open a new account.

We may remove content or suspend accounts immediately when there is a risk of fraud, harm or illegality, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

7. Automated access

Scraping, automated collection, or reselling of Meenando content is not allowed. Businesses that want demand data can use the official partner API under a separate agreement.

8. Liability

Meenando is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the conduct of buyers or sellers, for items exchanged, or for losses arising from deals. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law in your country.

9. Changes and contact

We will notify you in the app before material changes take effect. Questions: support@meenando.com.
